Our drug discovery and development efforts were founded in 2002 in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, by a team of research scientists, chemists and biologists working in immunology. Today, we employ approximately 1500 people and have operations in the US, Europe and Japan.
Our unique expertise in medicinal chemistry and biology have enabled us to create a diversified portfolio of marketed products and clinical candidates, the majority of which were discovered by Incyte scientists. We are advancing a growing pipeline of medicines across two franchises: Oncology and Inflammation & Autoimmunity.
The commitment of our talented team of world-class scientists to continued scientific excellence has enabled us to identify new molecules, decipher new pathways and develop first-in-class and best-in-class medicines.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through the toughest times they may have faced. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need.
Teenage Cancer Trust’s world-leading care and support puts young people in the best possible place, physically, mentally and emotionally, for their cancer treatment and beyond.
Each year, their specially trained nurses and youth workers support hundreds of teenagers and young adults in 28 units in hospitals nationwide, as well as helping many more in local hospitals and at home.
And the charity’s post-treatment events bring young people with cancer together so they can meet others who know what they’re going through and support one another.
UKASCC is a new multidisciplinary association with a mission: supportive care makes excellent cancer care possible:
Supportive care in cancer is the prevention and management of the adverse effects of cancer and its treatment. This includes management of physical and psychological symptoms and side effects across the continuum of the cancer experience from diagnosis through treatment to post-treatment care. Supportive care aims to improve the quality of rehabilitation, secondary cancer prevention, survivorship, and end-of-life care.
SIOP, founded in 1969, is the only global multidisciplinary society entirely devoted to paediatric and adolescent cancer. Over 1800 members worldwide from a wide range of healthcare specialties, including a strong and influential nursing voice, are dedicated to improving childhood cancer care regardless of patients’ geographic location. SIOP’s vision is that no child should die of cancer – cure for more and care for all. By promoting and advancing basic, clinical, and other research, and by supporting collaborative opportunities, SIOP members translate scientific discovery to improve survival chances and quality of care for children and adolescents with cancer. SIOP also prioritizes parent and caregiver support and recognizes children and adolescents are members of families needing attention as well. SIOP is advocating globally on behalf of all patients and families to ensure access to the best diagnosis, treatment, care and survivorship in consideration of locally available resources.
The United Kingdom Oncology Nursing Society (UKONS) is a Registered Charity (1136972) run voluntarily by cancer nurses for cancer nurses. UKONS was founded in 2005. UKONS holds an annual conference in November each year, publishes a fortnightly newsletter, holds multiple cancer nurse education events throughout the year and collaborates with multiple organisations that support the development of specialist cancer nurses. UKONS vision is to ‘Promote excellence in the nursing management and care of all those directly and indirectly affected by cancer in all four countries of the UK’, by inspiring cancer nursing through the support of cancer nurses in their research, learning and development. We work at local, regional and national levels to ensure that UKONS is a voice for all cancer nurses across the UK. By engaging with the educational and developmental needs of our members we also play an advisory role in the development of cancer guidelines and policy. Membership is free: UKONS currently has over 7000 members, the majority of whom are cancer nurses working in the UK. to find out more please visit our website at: www.ukons.org
